The jury selection for Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan raised concerns about potential bias, as most jurors reported getting their news from left-leaning sources.
Of the 18 seated jurors and alternates, only one said they received news from Truth Social or conservative outlet X.
In contrast, eight cited the New York Times, while others named CNN, MSNBC, Google and the Wall Street Journal.
One juror was dismissed after admitting to vandalizing right-wing signs.
Earlier, a potential juror who attended a Biden celebration was not disqualified, and another who voiced anti-Trump talking points was dismissed due to a scheduling conflict.
Legal experts say the makeup of the jury, with just one consumer of alternative media, fuels fears Trump may not receive a fair trial from this group in Democrat-led Manhattan.
The defense had sought to have more politically diverse jurors seated.
