Netanyahu Drops 9-Word Response After Iran’s President Vows to Wipe Out Israel

via Forbes

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel would not back down after Iran threatened to destroy the country.

In response to Iran launching missiles and drones at Israel days prior, Netanyahu stated succinctly that “Israel will do whatever it needs to defend itself.”

This came after he met with British and German foreign officials who advised on options, but Netanyahu stressed that Israel will decide its own course of action.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi claimed Iran’s attack on Israel was a success, despite 99% of projectiles being intercepted with no substantial damage.

“They have all sorts of suggestions and advice,” Netanyahu said of allies.

He noted, “I appreciate that. But I want to be clear: Our decisions we will make ourselves.”

Raisi warned that even a “tiniest invasion” from Israel would elicit a “massive and harsh” retaliation, while ignoring the military failure of inflicting damage on Israel.

Netanyahu signaled Israel would not back down from defending itself against Iran.
