Mike Johnson Praises CNN’s Jake Tapper Off-Air: ‘You’re Always Fair’

via FOX

Rep. Mike Johnson praised CNN host Jake Tapper as “always fair” after an interview, despite Tapper’s history of promoting left-wing narratives and hoaxes.

Last month, reports said CNN was considering replacing anchors like Tapper due to ratings.

“You’re always fair,” Johnson said off-air.

Johnson used his CNN appearance to promote his Ukraine aid package, which President Biden endorsed, after Johnson previously opposed such funding but recently reversed his position.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is threatening to challenge Johnson for House Speaker due to his reversals in supporting Ukraine aid and reauthorizing FISA surveillance, gaining support from Rep. Thomas Massie.
